The Code for Sustainable Homes, which assesses Energy and Environmental performance, is being applied as the benchmark for social housing; this is a far higher standard than that which can be achieved by traditional building methods, the Adaptahaus system is designed to conform to this, and, ultimately, to the even higher Passiv Haus standard.

In addition to the well documented large market for high performance social housing research shows that there is a market for Adaptahaus at the “top end” too. Its green credentials will appeal to higher income bracket buyers, who have an environmental conscience, due to its low energy usage and much reduced environmental impact.
